Not really new but never released, here are 3 mash-up between dub stepper and grime.
The idea takes place in 2018 while Djing at some party and needed to link dub stepper with grime, jungle and more UK sounds. So what a better way to use Wiley and friends vocals on some of top’s steppers dubs and remixes from France and UK to create kind of dubplate remixes to pair with the original tunes, like a Dj cut following the reggae tradition. All those mash-up are for us a strong tribute to the Sound System culture and to the sounds of UK, a real musical linkage that was missing at that time.
As all of this started in Jamaica, we add a bonus mash-up between B.Marley and one of the pioneers musician and producer of the UK Dub scene.
We do not own the right; we just buy records, digital tracks and used them to share our vibes.
